Dental Implants in Las Vegas

Stuck with a denture that doesn’t fit? Lose a tooth and ready to permanently replace it? Dental implants might be a great option for you! They provide a solid base for a new tooth or multiple teeth to attach to.

If you are looking for a durable and convenient relief from your dentures or decaying teeth, then give us a call or read more below!

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are titanium screws that are placed into your jaw where you are missing teeth. They provide support and act as an artificial root for a new tooth, and with consistent care, they last a lifetime. Implants help your new artificial teeth feel and function like natural teeth!

Implants can improve your oral health and feel just like natural teeth—and once they are inserted you will feel no discomfort or pain. They can even make it easier to eat and talk.

There are several options with implants:

Single Tooth Dental Implant

Single Tooth

Replace a single missing tooth with a dental implant. Your dentist will insert the titanium implant and attach a new tooth to the implant that blends in perfectly with your remaining teeth.

Not only will your new tooth look completely natural, but it will function just like your other teeth.

Bridge Dental Implant

Multiple Teeth

If you are missing multiple teeth in a row, we can attach a bridge to metal implants to give you a new smile.

We can replace two or more teeth with only two or three implants.

All On Four Dental implant

Entire Smile

When the entire smile needs to be replaced, we will either recommend a fixed or removable prosthesis. A removable prosthesis can be removed daily, and a fixed prosthesis has to be removed by the dentist.

With a fixed prosthesis, we recommend our All-on-4 treatment to get realistic and long-lasting results. You can read more about this smile-transforming treatment below.

Who Should Get Dental Implants?

Dental implants are ideal for people who are missing teeth due to disease, an accident, or a defect. Once your dentist inserts the implant and adheres your new tooth, your teeth will look and function like natural teeth.

Dr. Ghodsi and his dentists will let you know what your options are and what they recommend. If dental implants are the best solution for you, then they will walk you through the procedure and what to expect.

Get a New Smile in a Day with All-on-4!

All-on-4 or Teeth in a Day is a treatment that provides patients with an entirely new set of teeth that will last for many years!

The procedure is less traumatic than other full-mouth restoration surgeries. We remove any remaining teeth and insert four metal implants into the patient’s jawbone. The patient is sedated during the implant surgery to ensure they feel no pain or stress.

This treatment can replace all the teeth on the upper or lower jaw. Once the final fixed prosthesis is placed, the patient can start enjoying their all-new smile! The new teeth can be used the day they are placed.

At Lasting Smiles we can complete every stage of the procedure in our office and our experienced dentists are trained in the All-on-4 treatment. We pride ourselves in the efficiency and quality of our work.

6 Steps to a New Smile with All-on-4

1. Meet with your dentist for a consultation
1. Meet with your dentist for a consultation

We will meet with you to determine whether All-on-4 is right for you. If it is, then we will evaluate the health of your gums, teeth, and bone and decide what needs to be removed.

 2. Remove any remaining teeth under anesthesia

The next step is the actual surgery. During the surgery we begin by remove any remaining teeth. If portions of the gum need to be removed then we will do that as well.

3. Insert four metal screws into jaw

After the damaged teeth are removed, we will insert four titanium screws into the jaw. These screws will connect with your bone and serve as the base for your new teeth.

4. Attach new permanent teeth

After your surgery we will fit you with a fixed prosthesis–which is just a permanent set of teeth. They may be made of porclain or acryclic depending on your budget.

 5. Make adjustments until the teeth feel natural

Once the teeth are in place, it can take a few adjustments to get them in their perfect position. We want the teeth to feel like natural teeth, so we will make adjustments until they feel just right.

 6. Enjoy your new teeth!

You can use your teeth the day you get them. After about six months your gums and jaw will be completely healed. Smile and show off your new teeth!
